Today’s WaPo cartoon is also labeled “Mission Impossible,” but it shows three politicians instead of this. I don’t know who they are. Help!
I don’t get it. Darrin Bell used to have one of the best comics, maybe THE best comic out there. Now he has two, Candorville and Rudy Park, and the two together are not as good as Candorville used to be!
In a comic strip forum recently I commented that although I disagreed with Adams’ politics he was one of the wittiest of the cartoonists. After today’s slam on reparations, I have to take that back. You can make fun of the idea of reparations, but that was nasty.
Since the pandemic started I have been un-waisting. I’ve gained twenty pounds.

This guy Bell is a comic genius. I had never heard of Hazel Scott. Here’s a link to “A Foggy Day,” with her trio: https://youtu.be/DTtX7QVaQWkOh, with Charlie Mingus on bass.
What economists call “the tragedy of the comics.”
