There is a simple solution. Let us declare the embryo to be human on its 18th birthday, provided it has completed high school and has no police record. Up until that time, retroactive abortion should be an option for the parents.
By the way, both John Blackfox and I are atheists. We talked about such imaginary places for the fun of it. We have had no theological indoctrination. That is not something traditional among our people.
