   Not really sure why you copy-pasted this whole wall of text, including the links which aren’t links anymore and are therefore pointless. If you’re thinking that the hiatus Bill is talking about there is the same one we’re seeing here, it’s not. There’s much more story than this on the main website. This site is just broken and apparently no one, neither GoComics nor Bill, cares enough to even talk to us, let alone fix anything.

   OK, I emailed the creator of the comic, Bill Barnes, a WEEK ago pointing out that the comic had stopped updating and asking that he at least acknowledge the problem, even if he couldn’t fix it. He responded, “I had no idea! I’ll look into it.” And then nothing has happened for a week. I give up. I like this comic, but if I want to read it by clicking through archives instead of seeing something that updates regularly, I can do that on the old site. I’m not coming back here.

   Yeah, the comic ran on its own website for awhile, then went on hiatus and started posting here from the beginning. See the link below the comments, where it says “Visit Official notinventedhere Website!”? Click that and you can read the whole thing.

   Seriously, how hard is it to keep posting RERUN comics? If the comic had just cut off in the middle of a story I’d worry that some emergency had come up and was preventing the artist from continuing to post or even from explaining what’s wrong. But stopping right here where it says “To Be Continued” suggests an intentional pause – only, they haven’t bothered to tell anyone they were pausing, or say when they’d be back, and again, THESE ARE RERUNS! You shouldn’t need to take a break to figure out where the story’s going or build up a buffer or anything like that. So why has the strip just stopped, with no explanation, for over a week?

   I would love to hear the logic that took you from “This one thing I have tried doesn’t work” to “All RSS readers are useless”, somehow managing to skip over the points that a) you may have just been using a bad product, b) there may have been a glitch in the app that could have been fixed, and c) lots of other people use RSS readers and like them, so it would hardly be possible for all of them to be as bad as yours.

   Do the Sunday comics not appear on this site? I was looking for today’s, couldn’t find it, and then noticed on the calendar that all the other Sundays are also grayed out.

    Actually he’s saying “the fugitive”. Either his Spanish isn’t quite perfect, or whatever he did was so bad he expects to become famous for it.
