I don’t remember which came first, the special or this comic, but Schultz commonly used the KJV, which reads, “Goodwill towards men.” I do remember Schultz quoting from the American Standard Version which is is used in today’s comic.

I know you’re not arguing the accuracy of the translation but the choice of which translation is used. It’s possible that Chuck chose the other translation for this work. If that’s the case, then it’s his prerogative to make this change. If not, then I would agree that his work should remain unmodified, even though I believe that the ASV is more accurate than a 400-year, first time English translation.

Merry Christmas & thanks for your comment. I agree that we have a choice in how commercial the holiday is.

Ohm my gosh. One might induce that in the current situation, Dogbert has the capacity for showing impedance toward Dilbert. Watt Dilbert needs to be more grounded so these attacks won’t phase him; the real transforming power us within.

Get Fuzzy is my favorite strip. Darby’s sense of humor is dry, witty, quirky, epigrammatic, satirical, mordant and even sophomoric at times. All across the board. I love it all.
