@timharrod: She’s away from her usual computer this week, and hence her usual presets. It looks like the halftone shading she’s using is causing a moiré effect when it’s resized.
For those who are concerned, There’s a couple things going on. The Sunday was late due to travel difficulties; it turns out FTP doesn’t work over a mobile hot spot, who knew? Since then the site has refused to update in spite of repeated uploads. Hopefully it’ll be resolved soon.
The whole concept ticked me off because my whole life I’ve been subjected to TV shows that romanticized high school and basically portrayed it as a bunch of pretty people with minor romantic problems. High school was hell for me and I feel like the experience of people like me is almost never acknowledged — the only example I can think of that even comes close is Daria.Seeing a show with a message that I respected going down that same “Pretty Skinny Girls With Problems” road really irks me.
Asked her about it and apparently the strip was uploaded and processed, but never posted. She has email out to the site admins, but they apparently don’t work on weekends…
