   I had to go back 2 strips to see where the cane was that Marx reached back to get. Talk about attention to detail in this strip. I have to read them 2 or 3 times and read all the comments just to pretend I get it all.

   This is true,,, not “named dog-man” but we definitely have superhero dogs. Krypto the Superdog, Air Bud, Underdog…Snoopy. Maybe we don’t have Dog-man because mixing dog and man like that would diminish the dog.

   Just a humble observation: The ‘I’ thing appeared to be all light and glowie on its own. But as it came in contact with Wally’s essence – Wally was so much more pure light that the thing appears black and dark by comparison. Not sure what that means – but given the skill of our story teller – it matters.

   It took me a bit but I figured it out! @Altar_Ego is right. its the grill work. The 2021 BMW4 has a significantly larger grill then the 2020 version. Giving the car a very buck tooth look. Causing the rodent to fall in love with the car.

   Just a thought ( or a jumble of thoughts) if the way a human transforms is dependent on being awake or asleep and this twisty tie holding reality shows those our heroes loved and lost I wonder if there is an emotional connection in the bridging between realities. Oh and don’t dito’s respond to/need emotions also. I bet there are other intersections with emotions and the behavior of the realities and the characters. I’m wondering if emotions are at the heart of it all?

   That is exactly why I read this strip….I am impressed with how many strips can be put out with the same exact graphics and still make sense. Art through artificial constraints.
