From the Writing Handbook:
Rule A7: A proper noun is a person’s or thing’s own name. It is the particular name of a particular person, place or thing (e.g. Sluggo).
H17: In general, capitalize proper nouns.
H44: Capitalize he, his, himself…when they refer to God.
Is Sluggo God now? Capitalizing Him and His?
No, the wind blows the skeleton out of the tree.
Right, a comic strip will lure a cat out of a tree and not tuna…right….
No, because it’s irrelevant. Since it is the only currency accepted by the USA it is used by all. The words on the currency make absolutely no difference. This is a non-argument.
Let’s forget about prayer and teach the kids common grammar…the difference between their, they’re and there…the difference between your and you’re…how to spell etc. (not ect.)…the difference between to and too…the difference between lose and loose…when these things are learned then worry about prayer.
Which points out the ridiculousness of prayer in the first place. Doesn’t matter if you say them or not…the outcome is the same.
That’s assuming you believe in heaven in the first place. Of course, if you believe in a non-existing place you’ll believe in prayer…DUH!
" Just like not all Republicans are Nazis."
LOL What an unbiased comment. Your liberalism is showing.
I think they meant if Goldwater won….
