this is quite correct: things may appear completely different at night, especially if you’re having to drive vs not pay as much attention while riding as a passenger. it takes time to learn once one starts driving. (don’t ask me how i know this, particularly because i learned driving a stick shift!)
my current kitty loves being outdoors, snow doesn’t deter him. he chases the flakes & kicks up his heels in his friskiness, running in & out of the kids’ snow forts to mess with them. he is one intrepid cat!
anyway, it was worth it for yesterday’s “leaping, bounding” description from dear G! (the mental image was just killin’ me! LOL) that boy is too honest for his own good!
I know folks who have to sedate their animals or remove them from areas with nearby fireworks displays. I personally don’t care for fireworks but I’m just old; I can’t imagine what it is like for the people and animals that are ‘triggered’ by the noise.
ouch! i had abusive parents & speak up when i see the signs. even in our extended family i was a fighter towards such behavior, while others would shy away & try to pretend it wasn’t happening, or only happened once in awhile.
oh, I trust Lila will provide plenty of opportunities to overcome further challenges and/or hardship for Annie
