    It’s just plastic grocery bags that are banned. The ones that are easily recycled (most stores even have drop-off baskets at their entrances), yet most people just throw them away.

    Pretty much this.

    There was recently a study that showed the stink and fumes from a smoker’s clothing can have detrimental health effects. I highly doubt any legitimate study that showed second-hand smoke as “safe”…
