I wish Mittens and his Mom didn’t use Amazon. Use companies that are good to their workers, Mittens! They use boxes too.

These military lives were every day American citizens drafted to serve their country. They and volunteer soldiers deserve the best planning to avoid spending their lives to stop the invading forces, which in this case was the Japanese.

I read more than Bing, like history books, to see that it wasn’t “necessary,” but it was one of the choices and you can’t give a bloodless alternative.

So, you dodge the question. I see your point, but by dodging the question, you point out the terrible choice President Truman faced.

I don’t think he was coming for you. It’s all good. If it helps you to think of some Presidents as heroes, awesome. I was saying that it helps to remember that they’re people to avoid being so let down when they prove they are people. After all, EVERY President did at least one thing wrong that hurt some of the people they were elected to serve. Even Ike and Carter and Bush the First. It’s impossible not to mess up, so we shouldn’t expect perfection. That was my point. But your point that it also helps to recognize the good things people do in order to feel inspired to do good things, is a great point. Unless I misunderstood. If I did, I am sorry. :)
