Champ looks like Petey Otterloop in the third panel. And that’s a good thing.
Actually, if they were walking 5 miles an hour they would be pretty goddamn fast for walkers. The average New Yorker walks about 3 miles an hour. Still, slow walkers suck and it would be cool to bounce them out of the way.
Shouldn’t Sophie call him Thomas?
I don’t think he was coming for you. It’s all good. If it helps you to think of some Presidents as heroes, awesome. I was saying that it helps to remember that they’re people to avoid being so let down when they prove they are people. After all, EVERY President did at least one thing wrong that hurt some of the people they were elected to serve. Even Ike and Carter and Bush the First. It’s impossible not to mess up, so we shouldn’t expect perfection. That was my point. But your point that it also helps to recognize the good things people do in order to feel inspired to do good things, is a great point. Unless I misunderstood. If I did, I am sorry. :)
We would all find politics easier, well, less painful, if we looked to elect people instead of heroes.
You probably won’t see this, GEORGIA, but I’m here!
No, not like that at all.
Look at all the male readers who don’t like the mansplaining joke. LOL!
They succeeded. What does Putin have on Trump to make him act like his lickspittle? He helped elect him.
