    Many years ago, after working all night in the L.A. some of us would go the local park to play softball instead of fighting the L.A. traffic. Since there weren’t always enough players to field two teams we made it tackle softball! Lots of fun and no rules!

    In my so called formative years (mid 60’s) we played in fruit groves, orchards and even had the “Bat cave” in the hills. Now it’s all paved over. Whenever I go back to So. Calif. I get bummed out. Thank God for Montana!!!!

    If I was stranded in a desert guicksand would be low on my worry list. First I’d want to find the water that made the sand quick. Then the big problem! I would need a plan to get Mary Ann all to myself and have Gilligian stuck five Islands away!!!!

    I remember my niece at her first t-ball game, she nailed the ball and promptly ran to 3rd base!!

    At this very moment there is white stuff falling from the sky in Stevensville Montana. I WANT SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
