Yeah, we know what we should do. My doctors says I need to give up drinking, gambling, and chasing women. And, he adds that I will live longer. So, will I actually live longer or will it just seem like it?
I think you are probably right. Small car with a small trunk. Typical insurance provided vehicle. But, Janice is still using it to transport manure. It is interesting that we are discussing this as if it were real life.
The implication is that Janice rented a car so that she didn’t have to load the cow poop into her personal vehicle. I can’t imagine anyone doing that in real life, but…. Anyway, all you would have to do is throw one of those dollar store plastic drop cloths into the trunk, load it up, and leave it open for the rest of the day to air out any remain scent.
If this were a real world situation (and it is now a part of modern life), I would recommend that the dishes be put back in storage for the time being. People change over time and perhaps the “kids” will be interested later.
Thank you and everyone else who responded. I finally saw the 2018 copyright date. Someone did a survey and wrote about the lack of interest in family heirlooms. I’ve got my uncle’s WWII medals. His immediate family had no interest in them.
The Sunday strip (most of them do it) doesn’t follow the story in progress. I suspect the Monday strip will continue the party.
