Is Bernice the worst character in comics? I really think that yes, she is. I would so love for her to be killed off.

The fact of the matter is that if you do nothing, the five people will die, but it is not your fault. It was going to happen if you never went to the front of the train to see what was going on. If you purposely switch the train to the other track you are deciding to kill the one person so you are a murderer and would be arrested, go to trial and probably sent to prison, even if it was just for manslaughter.

The real dilemma of the situation is do you let “nature take its course” or do you intervene and murder one person to save five others.

I’ve always taken it to mean close to #1.You start off wanting to do something good, but you either go to far, go too extreme, that in the end the solution/situation is worse then the original problem was.

For example, the Patriot Act, was an attempt at making the world safer, but some would say it went too far, with government spying on its own people, arresting people and holding them without trial, severely restricting American citizens freedoms, etc… SO while the original intent was good and to make the word better, then end result was problematic for a lot of people.

Finally did it. I stopped following Alley Oop. After years and years of reading every day, even through all the bad storylines, but these new writers have finally driven me away.

I’ll check back in every few months to see if the creative team has changed or finally got the strip back on track, but my hopes aren’t high for the next year or three, which is a shame since I do love the characters and the great stories that used to be told.

I love Alley Opp, but I’ve got to say this storyline is dragging on and on and on.

Does everyone realize that Oola fell on the bird that brought her to Moo in early January? In a week it will have been 5 months since this storyline started, and Alley has just found her. It has been 6 months since Alley got back from his last adventure (The whole Frankenstein thing, remember that? It was half a year ago) and since then all we have had is Alley looking for Oola.

This feels like one of the longest, most boring story lines that have had in a while.

I hope it wraps up soon and we can move on to something better.

I usually don’t comment about this, but Damn! Compare the size of the red dino from today’s strip to March 11th’s!!

You want to know why the people of moo aren’t scared of dinos? it’s because the dino’s apparently shrink drastically the longer they spend next to humans.
