   Actually they did. Modern crocs and gators show about 0 ability to learn and are pretty hardwired by their biology. Their tough design and ability to make do with very little let them survive.

   Not a bad game plan, work for bugs, mammals actually had to work for it.

    Common he’s a healthy enough dog, he could get up there if he wanted too.

    My last dog eternally frustrated my brother when he moved desk in front of the dogs favorite window for watching for anyone coming home. I think the dog was kind of respectful, he’d jump up there and stand there and disturb very little, if he was sprawling like he did on beds or the floor, not a single thing would have been left on that desk…
