   I am guessing due to time difference and the fact that she was old already, Olwen did not return and the white haired one on Winnie talking is Clover. Vesper is blinded and since the one with the sword doesn’t have a white streak, he is Pilot. Thus the missing ones would be Ivan and Wigglesworth.

   For our cats it is the Sunday night treat. Miss Obliquity, the 1 year old, is just starting to enjoy it, but is picky about the flavor. Miss Rain (11) and Miss Nikita (6) have not hesitation and will rush through their portion in hopes of getting the youngster’s.

   My dad was a vet and he once told me that he wished owners would think more about the quality of their pets life when making those type of decisions. He had seen too many owners choose to keep their pet alive for as long as they could when he could tell that the pet was in immense pain.

   The problem stems from people having use the word incorrectly to mean stupid or something else (Pokesalat for example) instead of the original dictionary definition of “to make slow; delay the development or progress of (an action, process, etc.); hinder or impede, to be delayed”. Thus now the slang definition of retarded came about and is an insult. People ruin perfectly good words through ignorance and misuse. Another example is the word gay, original use “having or showing a merry, lively mood: bright or showy”.
