   Goodbye to childhood – it’s on to adulthood. They’ll wind up at the same college – and I hope, like Doonesbury and For Better Or Worse, we’ll see them continue on in real time forever.

   It will be fun seeing the whole gang together at Muni. (of COURSE they are all going to end up there ;) )The strip has sort of lost sight of the parent/kid relationships and has been focusing more on love interests and making career choices. College is a much more interesting place for them to be. Maybe, like Doonesbury, and For Better or Worse, we’ll have the fun of watching them continue on into adulthood and parenthood, too. I’ve always liked Luann – I have a feeling I’m going to love it, for a long, long time.
