I don’t know about socks, but Bubba (RIP) would sing the song of his people at 2 am in the loudest caterwaul I have ever heard. Granted, when he started this, he had gone deaf. The rest of us had not, and were tortured…er, “treated” to this nightly serenade. When we moved to a 2 story home, he stayed downstairs and gave his concerts, while the rest of us, with the buffer of a 2nd floor, would just roll over and go back to sleep. He was the last of my sister’s cats that we took in after she passed. I hope he’s serenading her in heaven! Miss them both!
My first night in Anchorage in May, 1997 I went to bed about 10pm, (had a long day of traveling). Woke up and thought, yay, my first morning in Alaska! Couldn’t wait to start my day, then rolled over and looked at the clock. It said 12:31 am. I learned to pull the curtains very tightly closed. I had a blast while I was there, would do it again in a heartbeat!!!
Yep, that’s one of the functions of cat staff, warm furniture!
Not if you want to have a quiet moment. Cats will scratch at door, bang on it, stick their paws under it, meow to be let in, and generally make a ruckus to be where I am. Even hubby has caved in. Cats win!
Thank you for your service, glad you dodged that rocket! God bless those who didn’t.
Chihuahua, ankle-biter extraordinaire; corn dog of despair!
14 Kittens! What a circus for the big kittah!
So, in real life, Lio is a humanoid spider??? (8 limbs)
Its nothing more than sometimes wanting to be free of responsibilities; to do whatever you feel like when you want without repercussions. It is NOT about not loving your spouse or child. Its just a bit of wanderlust. Everyone experiences it now and again; but most make the choice and commitment to stay with the ones they love.
I just use a yardstick. And I have to do it for all my petsitting clients…..lol!!!That’s why all my clients love me, I retrieve their toys!
