I agree and once he’s finished with college, that’s the plan.

Hmmmm…. I wonder if he can part with them when that happens? He’s a runner so doesn’t plan on wearing them again so I really don’t understand the sentimental attachment. Running has been important to him because of teammates, coaches and physical improvement so maybe it’s that connection.

I don’t mind that my son buys expensive running shoes as he’s a pretty low maintenance guy except for that. But he won’t let me toss “retired” shoes. I’m storing several large totes of old running shoes.

Thank you. I’m not homeless and for that I am very grateful. But darn… a hug, even of the virtual variety, is sweet. I appreciate your response.

I love Rob’s tshirt today. This vet could use a hug right about now.

Several of this morning’s favorite comics made me laugh out loud or slightly tear up. I loved today’s FBOFW and enjoyed your story just as much. It’s like a little MOTH story in the comment section.

I can’t recall ever knowing what happened to Tiff’s bio mom. Deceased, divorced? Can somebody please fill in the blank?

I don’t know if your question was answered about having to leave her college dorm but students all over the country got booted in March and had to go online from their homes for college classes. The local university is now letting students come back for their stuff.

For me it’s typically 2 pair on my head while wearing a pair to read. I have about 35 pair from the dollar store. I keep them in a big bowl in my kitchen and throughout the course of the week they end up in other rooms. Then I’ll round them up and head them back to the home bowl.
