   Having been a restaurant server for a number of years, I disagree. Her straightforward, concise actions are TOTALLY appropriate. Warning was given, warning was ignored, corrective action was taken. That she is the owner herself simply avoids unnecessary escalation.Now, if she had started playing games with them as you suggest, THAT would have been inappropriate, as it would only exacerbate the situation.Nancy made her point in a direct manner without screwing around. She absolutely took the “opportunity” that was presented. Good for her.
