   Will be sorry to see the comic end but can understand if retirement is in the future the same as with Jan Eliot and ‘Stone Soup’. Just sorry to be losing my daily ‘friends’ from the newspaper (and yes, I still read those).

   Hopefully a new storyline arc will have Luann back as the main character and not a secondary one. And the Ann Eiffel arc was getting tedious and boring.

   One word to describe the Ann arc: BORING. Every story needs a conflict to have the characters ‘grow’ but enough already with the Ann Eiffel show. Whatever happened to Delta? Bring her back into the story line. I agree with Prescott-Philosopher that Luann is no longer the protagonist of the strip.

   Came in late to the game but loved getting caught up in the story line with the classic Stone Soup comics and new ones on Sunday. Will definitely miss seeing new ones but can understand about no longer being tied to a deadline. Hopefully a new book with a compilation of the comics will soon published (hint, hint). Have a great and fun filled retirement, Jan!
