I guess the three embassy attacks that killed several US citizens during Bush’s watch were somehow different than Benghazi, eh? It’s also funny to hear the new canard that somehow, the Nazi’s were left wingers, when from the time of their inception until about 10 years ago, they were right wingers. But I guess rewriting history is another way that right wingers ensure the “facts” are on their side. Anyway, thanks for the laughs Guard SGT, it’s always a hoot to read your crazy ravings (even it you may not actually be crazy). For what it’s worth, I find Obama to be generally worse than Bush……..which is quite and achievement seeing as how Bush was the worst US President in my lifetime (or any other, for that matter). Of course, Bush started the authoritarian, freedom smashing ball rolling, and Obama just got it going a bit faster.

The way both “conservatives” and “liberals” swallow government propaganda (which is funded by the oligarchs of this country, who are not interested in ideologies, but only money and power) never ceases to amaze me. You are at each others throats because that is what the moneyed elite want. You are two busy hating each other to see how they cater to both your prejudices while bleeding you both dry. The USA is being sold off to the highest bidders, with both of supposedly opposite political parties willingly complicit in it. When Guard SGT mentions “the corrupt party”, he doesn’t realize he’s describing the entire congress. To suggest that either “side” of our one party government is more corrupt than the other is the pinnacle of childish ignorance.

Ray, you’ve proven your own point, obviously.

@Astolat…….You make the common mistake of assuming that Americans are as well informed about their own country as the rest of the world is. They are not, not even close (well, some of us try to be, at least).

Jack, we hate Clarence Thomas because he believes he is above the law (or is ignorant of it, which for a supreme court judge is not a good sign). And I’m not even a member of the “left”.

Nemesys, he shot the kid 8 times, for punching him in the face. Sounds like a responsible gun owner to me. Good Lord, how can such a response be justified? Granted, there could be details left out, but 8 times? At the very least the guy needs more target practice.

I think the problem is really enforcement of the laws we currently have.
