For help on how to follow a comic title,
He can have those aliens, I’ll welcome the Fire Maidens from Outer Space! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nR1k37qjBDY 14 days might just be enough time to make sure that they are healthy!
Why not simply say ‘people who refuse and might put others in danger’?
Agreed, but after reading some of the comments on this page it is a conclusion that I am forced to come to. It’s like Pelosi saying she doesn’t hate trump and conservatives; given what she says constantly it is hard to believe she doesn’t want them all dead. Of course the reverse is true from the other side.
Yes. An insult should be tailored to the person and the reason for the offense, if it is an offense worthy of an insult at all. “Richard” or “Dick” is an old name, if you are going to use it as a replacement for a part of the body you insult not just the person in front of you but all of the people who have that name. It’s not a very nice thing to do.
Incredible. Now I’m glad I don’t pay that much attention. Karen is a good name, I feel sorry now for all of the people named Karen. Who wants to go though life with a name that is an insult?
Thanks, but not always an option. You don’t turn easily when you are carrying 80 pounds
I should like to point out that I do wear the mask. I’m in retail at a home improvement store, so I wear the mask. I’d like also like to point out that not everyone has the cushy job where you sit in the office with the ac running. Or can stay at home and get paid not to work. I work outside, regularly picking up 80 pound bags of concrete and the more humid the weather becomes the harder it is to keep wearing the mask, not to mention being half blind most of the day because my glasses fog up. When the temp reaches 90 with a humidity rating of 95, catching the virus as a risk drops a bit on the priority scale when you having trouble breathing and the mask is so soaked with sweat its starting to drip and run down your chin and chest. By the end of the day I could wring the darn thing out and have a half full glass of water. So I’ll keep wearing it, but I won’t hold it against those who don’t and the smug superiority of those who do and scorn those who don’t wears thin very quickly. Look at it this way, if they don’t wear the mask and they get sick and die, won’t that make you happy?
Can you elaborate on that because I have no idea what you mean, and if it is an insult it does not work if I don’t know what you mean. I don’t have time to keep up on these boards or discussions, so I tend to miss pop culture references.
What do you mean by “Karens”?
I really don’t understand that reference.
