I recall that after Charles Schulz retired, Luann walked around the kite-eating tree and checked out Snoopy’s doghouse. Luann also appeared with other characters in Mell Lazarus’s Momma comic strip (gathered around Momma’s gravestone: ’RIP Sonya Hobbes, 1927 – 2016.)
Well, I’m 64 and I don’t think being alone is so bad (if I thought so I wouldn’t have moved 1,000 miles away from my nearest friends and relatives after I retired). However, (a) I do have Asperger’s and (b) being alone did bother me when I was a younger man.
I found that I enjoy reading history and literature a lot more if I’m not required to write a report on them.
