   I’ve always loved this strip, ever since childhood (and I’m 83 now!) My regular newspaper, the Kansas City Star, discontinued Gasoline Alley several years ago, and I’ve never forgiven them for that. (They’ve done that with several other old favorites too, and replaced them with the most inane and stupid strips imaginable.) So I’m really thrilled that Go Comics carries many of these oldies.

   Doggone it, I KNOW that they have more strips after this! Several years ago, when another outfit ran Lil Abner, they continued runing much later strips, including when Abner and Daisy May finally got married, had their child Honest Abe, and many adventures after that. Then GoComics took over and it hasn’t been the same since. I assume that they are going to rewind back to the thirties again (and again, and again…) ad infinitum. Please get with it, Go Comics!    So we now have 3 story lines with loose ends facing us: the problem with MoonMaiden and the deserted colony on the moon, the Mole and his business, and now this mysterious strong box. It’s mind boggling!JimCo
