   I’m sure their car had a manual transmission, meaning it’s free rolling unless it’s in gear or the e-brake is set. Remember, this strip was written in the ’80s when manual trans were more common.

   That reminds me – often times I see products for sale on Amazon where the bulk price is actually higher than buying them individually. I wonder how many people buy in bulk anyway not bothering to do the calculations.

   I sell things online and although most customers order on my website I also regularly receive phone orders. Often times, people will call me with their questions before purchasing. I help them to select the right product for their application, and since we’re already talking many of them will proceed to place the order right then over the phone.

   Calvin was scared indeed (check the previous days) – but now that he’s convinced that his pet tiger scared the burglars away, he has nothing to fear. How can he be scared when he has a pet tiger? Nobody can hurt him when Hobbes is there to protect him!

   I suppose it never occurred to Tiffany to use the credit card to invest in starting up her new nail salon. Sure, she’s not allowed to do business in the dorm – but maybe she could rent a corner at the Fuse or something. Oh, I guess we’re supposed to totally forget about that now.

   It’s a shame Wiley couldn’t control himself. I don’t like Trump either, but if I was a cartoonist I absolutely wouldn’t insert foul language of that sort in comics that are read by children! Yes, I know he left out the first letter, but come on, it’s very clear what was intended. Too bad, because I love this comic strip and now some people will miss out because in a moment of boundless hatred for the president he went too far. (Again, I don’t like Trump either, but at least I’m rational about it.)
