An Inspector Danger comic where the solution actually makes logical sense AND all the clues are actually in the comic……I…..I never thought I"d see the day…..

Seriously? I get that it was going to be the snowman, but I don’t really like the answer at all. Maybe I just have a stick up my @ but I feel like the answer is kind of a rude jab. Why would a 63 year old man with no kids or grandkids build a snowman in their front yard? I don’t know, maybe because it’s winter? Maybe because it’s fun? Maybe they were bored? Maybe the did it for the neighborhood kids? Maybe they just like snowmen? Maybe he’s dating someone that has kids? Maybe he’s just lonely and thought a snowman companion would cheer him up. I’m used to this strip not making sense, but at it’s not usually this personal.

Well, I screwed up. I should have know better then to try and use logic. The way I saw it, going by the guy in blue’s height that window is probably around 2 stories high, maybe 3 at best. A 20 or so foot drop might injure you but that’s not going to kill you meaning there’s no way he died jumping out that window.

What I forgot is the inspector doesn’t use logical assumptions, but baseless ones. Yes he “jumped” out the window, but that doesn’t mean he “jumped” forward. Not to mention throwing a pouf with an entirely different size, weight and mass isn’t going to be accurate in the first place. But hey, the guy probably confesses in the end so what does it matter? Granted, I’d take my chances confessing in hopes of being taken to the station in a different squad car from the clearly crazy inspector if it was me too.

I’m sorry, but this is the perfect example of what NOT to do when writing a mystery/riddle. There is literally nothing, not one since hint or shred of evidence in the strip to help you figure out the answer. He’s the only guy in a room of women, alright, normally that could be a reasonable puzzle but show me where we’re given proof the robber is a guy. How in the **** were we supposed to know he was in a room full of women? I can’t decide what’s worse, the failure to create a good mystery, or the failure of their publisher green-lighting this.

Remember kids, professionals burn the evidence.

What? How in the **** are we supposed to figure that out? That makes 0 sense whatsoever.

Yet another one that requires outside knowledge beyond what’s presented in the strip.

Suspect 4 is standing under a tree in the shade, hence why it’s no big deal to have pants on.
