The cost of gas has risen due to the greed of the oil companies since the ’73 Oil Embargo and the lack of regulation on speculators. If we had the speculators out of the market, then gas would be about $2.50/gal.

That’s an old stat. Last week there was a story on MSN saying that there is no difference in the divorce rate between couples who lived together before marriage and those who didn’t.

When I moved to Vegas in ‘98, I was stopped for GOING the speed limit. The officer said, and I quote, “NOBODY drives the speed limit in Vegas!!!”. He said the only people who drive the speed limit were drunks and criminals out casing houses or businesses for their next job. He told me to drive 5 over the limit so I didn’t attract attention. I’ve been doing that for the last 13 years and haven’t had a problem so far, knock on wood (he said knocking on his head),
