I think you should pitch your “League of Extraordinary Vermin” to Disney. It would make a great movie!
Marketing idea, PLUSH TRUMP SKUNKS! (or figurines) Betty hurry though, god willing there will only be about 6 months left to sell them.
I have stood in that spot and taken that same picture. It is an awesome feeling!
I think My Cage was cancelled by the syndicate
I’m with her. And ALL of them are DEADLY POISONOUS, no matter what “experts” say
Please get rid of this oversized header! I also would like a way to enlarge some strips just by clicking on a magnifying glass and having them pop up just a little larger so they are easier to read. We had this on the old site and I would like it back. I have to use the zoom feature on my status bar and enlarge some comics up to 175% just to read them clearly. One good thing I have noticed in these changes is that the strips do seem to be slightly larger, but some are still too small to read easily.
There really is a Christmas spider tradition. I think it is from Germany. I have a spider ornament that has the tale with it. It goes something like this: There was a family that was too poor to decorate their tree, (or it was a tree in a church) anyway, a spider spun a web on the tree overnight and in the morning the tree sparkled. That is how the tradition of decorating with tinsel started. It is also a tradition to hang a spider ornament in the tree. That is the gist of it anyway. Pretty neat tale.
This site is ok. It is hard for me to get used to changes, but this will not be too bad. In reading the other comments about not being able to scroll down the list of favorite comics without jumping around – I am a paid subscriber and I did not have that issue in any of my lists. They work pretty much the same as before. What I will miss is having the lists located on the left side. I like that better than a drop down box on the top. I also would prefer the button to go to the previous comic to be on the right side of the comic rather than the left. Also, the ability to click on the comic and enlarge it is missing. Yes, the comics do look a little larger in this new site, but some of them still have microscopic text that is hard to see even when enlarged. The old site lets you click on the comic and enlarge it somewhat. This new site does not. If you click the comic it just takes you out of your list and to the comic’s own page. Please give us the enlarging feature!! I also did not see any way to print a comic like on the old site. We need that feature as well. Some of the comics that are not updated daily disappeared completely from my lists. It made me fearful that they were discontinued. Thankfully they were not. But the lists in my old site still have them there, they just say “comic not updated today” and you can still click on that to see the last comic posted. I would like that to continue. Also, SHERPA, please add those comics. But everything else looks pretty much similar. It will take some getting used to but won’t be too bad.
I agree. What I look for are the shows about the rebuilding of “Ground Zero”. A few years ago, there was a fantastic – almost 6 hour – T.V series about all the plans for the new One World Trade Center, the subway stop going to it and everything else that was planned. I found it to be a refreshing look FORWARD, and not a depressing, sad look back. Make no mistake, we will always remember. But I prefer to remember in moderation. Otherwise, it is a bit overbearing.
