Hmm — I wonder what it says about me that this strip, and the one with Dill’s Big Stick O’ The Day (through the mail slot) are two of my favorites? (Then again, my list of favorites is about two or three hundred strips long….)
You know, I just realized that one of the (many!) characters I’m especially going to miss is, umm … I don’t even remember her name … the girl at Petey’s summer comic drawing class whose hair accessories kept poinging off. I particularly loved her meta-drawings! How is it possible that we won’t see more of them in the future?? Something is not right.
Good point! But you can already see the cross-hatching shadow under Mr. Avacado Plant, as different from the triangle and Miss Bliss’s jacket “colors.”
