My father used to say, “Children should be raised in a barrel and fed through he bunghole.” I’m an only child. Wonder where he got that idea?

If he’s awake all night, keep him awake all the next day. Don’t let him nap. He’ll sleep the next night, I guarantee!

Here’s the problem. A woman is thinking marriage after she’s been dating a guy for three weeks. A Guy won’t even admit that marriage is a possibility until at least six months into a relationship. The reason is a guy thinks that a woman thinks “If it doesn’t work out, I’ll just console myself with half of all his money.” I know too many divorced and widowed men who say they’ll never get married again simply because they don’t want a woman telling them that She nows better than he does how he should be living his life, so she’s going to tell him how to live it. What he can eat and not eat. How he can dress and not dress, where he can go and not go, Who his friends will be and not be, how he will spend his money and not spend his money. They say they just don’t need it any more. The benefits of marriage just aren’t worth it.

First of all, Albert Einstein didn’t talk until he was 4. They thought he was retarded.

Secondly, Max CAN talk. He’s said a few words here and there in the strip.

n the other hand, “the Bourne Identity” was a good movie, but after the first six minutes had little to do with the book. The book was about Bourne’s conflict with Carlos the Jackal. Carlos didn’t even appear in the movie.

“Sum of All Fears” movie had a completely different ending from the book.

“2001 a space odyssey” the movie was incomplete vis-a-vis the book. Kubrick was told to have it done by a certain date or face cancellation of the project. He just turned in what he had and to hell with the rest.

I hate it when Hollywood thinks they can write a story better than the original author.

Never have understood why Holly didn’t get her own room when Joan moved next door.

Wouldn’t Holly working for Wally be a violation of the child labor laws? Don’t you have to be 16 to get a permit to work even part -time?

I guess no one ever told Holly about the child labor laws. Most states you have to be 16 to get a part-time job, and 18 for a full-time job. Then there’s the mandatory school-attendance laws. (except in Mississippi)
