Lob is an old English variation on cob.
I should think that brainy Bernice would know that cob is simply an old (Middle English) word for spider.
Dogs are not obligate carnivores. While their teeth and digestive tract are designed for an exclusively carnivorous diet, they can, in fact, digest fruits, vegetables and grains.
As someone who lost thirty pounds on an exercise regimen that consisted exclusively of walking, I must disagree.
I’ve never understood why vegans have cats for pets. They’re not just carnivores, they’re obligate carnivores. They can’t digest anything that isn’t meat, and all the crap in cat food that isn’t meat just passes through their systems, usually without doing harm, but all too often causing severe problems like diabetes.
And apparently, you’ve never lived in San Francisco.
