Hey! Hey! Hey! You there! The one with the hat! Yah, You!

We specifically asked for premium unleaded, now take that regular stuff away and go to the end of the line.

I considered doing that when they had the “Lord of the Rings” marathon yesterday, but I thought better of it when I got sick of the commercials.

Heck, I’ve got the DVD’s (yes, both the theatrical and extended versions), what am I putting up with commercials for? I can have my own marathon anytime I want!

Now, if I could just convince my kids to buy me all the Star Trek episodes for Christmas (yes, even the cartoon series), my life will be complete!

@Gual I’M a light skinned African America. who’s often confused for being Puerto Rican. Did you assume I was white?

Judging by your picture, I would assume that you’re light gray with a big white question mark on your face.

Yah, Broomie will try any place, high or low.

Why, check out Wednesday, September 8th – look at the elevator buttons – no down button – she’s in the basement!

Cartoon hair color, anatomy, etc. is along the same lines as cartoon physics – if it were realistic it wouldn’t be as much fun; if you encountered it in real life it would be creepy.

Take as an illustration a recent TV commercial for the “Bratz” line of dolls, which show a cartoon/live action combination of the “dolls” walking side by side with humans.

I shudder to recall! Those huge heads! And no noses!

    Ewwww!

“Creepy” is exactly the right word for it.

Sorry blue and purple hairs aren’t something you find in nature.

Depends on which nature are you talking about?

    Our nature? No, not much.

Anime nature? ALL THE TIME!! Indeed, it’s rare to see anybody who actually has brown or black hair. Which is especially peculiar considering that most Anime comes from Japan, where 99.9% of people’s hair color is black or dark dark brown.

My theory is that the Official Rules of Drawing Anime allow for the creation of only about 4 different possible faces (2 male, 2 female), so if you need more than four characters, you need to change the hair color so people can tell them apart.
