The Left wants to label the Right/Conservatives as fascist, yet here is an actual example of fascism in Pressley, and you don’t one negative comment. You either agree and pledge your support or you’re to be shunned. Rather, you get the T-Rex’s deflection. It’s a picture of hear no evil, see no evil, speak nothing but evil.

The same argument could be said for women’s professional basketball, boxing, and most other other men dominated sports. More men watch sports than women and the revenue generating advertising is marketed towards men. Also, if the fans turned out and watched more women’s sports like they do the men’s sports, the advertising dolars supporting the team would increase the athlete’s pay. In essence, it’s the fan’s fault that the women are not getting paid as much. So…what I hear being proposed by the libs is that these women should be compensated out of the men’s account. Socialism comes to sports because it feels good. With this logic, all the players should get the same flat pay, regardless of how good they are (if they are a bench player or all star), what team they play on, how many wins their team gets, or how many fans they draw to their games. The last place team and worst player doesn’t matter. Yep…that’s fair.

This article also points out that paying players equal across the board isn’t so simple. https://www.freep.com/story/money/business/john-gallagher/2019/07/09/womens-soccer-uswnt-equal-pay/1676477001/

How is it easy to understand that players on the same team (say in MLB) don’t all get the same pay. This isn’t discrimination among positions, it’s contractual.

If the player doesn’t like the pay, they don’t have to play for that team. If these women don’t like the pay, don’t play. The market will decide.

Beyond your feelings of not wanting there to be a pay gap how is it ignorant? PicklePete’s article spells it out pretty well.
