They have to be able to recognize them as faults, then want to correct them. Too many living in fantasy worlds to make that happen.

It’s OKAY If A Republican* Does It!

Massive corruption, sabotage, Treason — none of those are faults, IF you’re a Republican*.

I wish I could go around and stand on weird rocks.

Lets ponder the human condition instead of working against the growing threat to democracy.

American Conservative “Christianity” is BASED on attacking other people for what you think are their faults, and ignoring your own.

I think Stantis’ new move is to be so lame that we all move off, shaking our heads.

because it’s more fun, and requires no self-awareness, to comment about the mote in your eye than the beam in mine.

So far from the comments it’s apparent that the self righteous will never see themselves as part of the problem.

More importantly, where’s the humor value? If you’re going to look to your own shortcomings, you have to do it in a humorous way, which generally means you’ve failed somehow or gotten it all wrong.

There aren’t many good humor strips about plaster saints. Brother Juniper was carefully crafted to exasperate his fellows a lot of the time, for instance.
