Due process presumes the ability to weigh evidence objectively.

You are never guilty, so long as your lawyers can delay the proceedings indefinitely.

And even if you are convicted, maybe you can get a pardon.

In any case, It’s OKAY If A Republican* Does It!

Hillary Clinton was innocent, never proved guilty!

Yet the reich wing media sauteed her in guilt until the “poorly educated” clamored for her guilt and found her guilty!

    “oh those e-mails”

Care to comment on that Carmen?

In the hands of clever lawyers, due process for the wealthy and well-connected has become as sticky and drawn-out as making taffy.

So adorable. Guilty until proven innocent? Nice catch phrase and not applicable depending on the client.

Due process was replaced by trial by left Liberal wing media.

That’s for finding someone guilty in a court of law. It does not mean that a person can’t form their own judgment.

    O.J. was guilty.

Due process is a legal fiction, (like corporations are people), it applies only in court. The truth of one’s innocence or guilt is a fixed datum, being able to prove it is another matter.

Racism, classism, decision making impacted by weather, time of day, diet, etc. If humans were algorithms, they would be banned from use in courtrooms.

I think “due process” died when the Republicans decided they would interfere with or do anything they could to prevent the “process” part from happening. Remember, for example, when a subpoena meant something?

Scott, are you referring to Short Curly Hairs Paul constantly harassing Fauci and making asinine accusations to get him fired as he uses his web site to do it just to raise money?

Or are you referring to Sen. Moron Marshall accusing Fauci of hiding his financials (which have been disclosed for the past 37 years) that resulted in Fauci’s hot mic response?
