What little kid goes around skipping and saying “What a beautiful day!” I would not hang out with that kid if I were still little. I would prefer the company of the beautiful bugs and lizards I could find under rocks.
Carmen has it right, Winslow, not so much!
I get VR for remote meetings and such. I’m more interested in AR for practical stuff near term. I don’t want a watch (borderline carpal tunnel), I want smart glasses.
No Winslow, no.
All the sounds of the earth are like music,
The breeze is so busy it don’t miss a tree,
And an ol’ Weepin’ Willer is laughin’ at me.
Oh what a beautiful morning,
Oh what a beautiful day,
I’ve got a wonderful feeling,
Everything’s going my way.
Hammerstein / Rodgers
Looks like Winslow is taking Timothy Leary’s advice to “turn on, tune in, drop out” (1966).
Concentrate on the beauty of the day, Stantisfernotmuch, sure can’t find anything in that jacked up party of Carmen’s. Good for y’all’s psyche…………………….go get a sno cone or something………..maybe a gelatto……………….2 scoops.
My day’s beautifuller than your day. My day’s beautifuller than yours. My day’s beautifuller cause I have a VR viewer. My day’s beautifuller than yours. (Sung to the tune of an old Kennelration dog food commercial). Anyone remember that commercial? Have a grand Monday my friends.
So much beautiful…
…and higher resolution. :)
Why exactly is this a competition?
I’d love to try one of those VR headsets. It would be wonderful to be able to stroll through a national park or visit some far-off place like a bamboo forest in Japan.
VR can give you more incredible colored things than nature. It is also not real.
