I don’t have a problem with people having more thing or better things

I do have a problem with them if they think having those things makes them better in some way

When we deluded ourselves into thinking we were the only moral leaders of the world and lived on a shining city on the hill. Around Ronald Reagan’s time.

Happiness is not having what you want, it is wanting what you have.

BlackRock’s assets under management totaled almost $7 trillion in the third quarter of 2019.

The latest is not the greatest. If what you have, does what you need, that is great.

I don’t necessarily think “more than enough” is bad, considering the alternatives are “exactly enough” and “not enough” (given that “enough” is hard to define). But I’m willing to consider that “too much” is a real thing, and not a good one.
