Science can only be as good as the materials. Trump voters?……..Meh.

I know this makes me a radical, but I don’t think people who believe that the universe is less than 10,000 years old should be deciding what goes into science textbooks.

Seems to me this one’s pretty clear. Take note Mr Ugly Reality (btw, you really ought to shorten that to the first to words). Only one side in this argument is anti-science. It’s also the side that doesn’t want to pay teachers a decent salary so as to attract the best candidates. But, somehow, they sure love the automation that produces cheap consumer goods and food. I wonder how we made such technological progress? To hear them tell it, it couldn’t be science.

Science and the scientific method are the gold standard for determining truth. Let’s not forget, however, that scientific findings change as information and subsequent experiment outcomes change through refinement and time. Then there are quantum findings, that demonstrate that findings change as expectations of the experimenter change…Recent scientific hypotheses even include the possibility that the Big Bang never happened…oh, my.

The cool thing is that Nature does not care if you believe in it or not, it just keeps doing its thing. We now have the power to influence the results, but not stop them. Most people would see that as a reason for caution, however fools rush in where angels fear to tread.

Winslow is wrong, 100% of the country believes in science, not every one agrees on every point, not even the scientists. Beliving in God does not prevent one from taking penicillin to fight an infrction.

There is a cure. Impeachment or removal from office.
