Okay – I’l be that guy…while not discounting the hazard of sleep apnea, I for one was pushed into a sleep study because my wife mentioned I snored.
I participated in two rather biased overnight test studies and I was deemed “extreme” and outfitted with an expensive (even with insurance) cpap. I was told I would reach a deeper sleep, be more alert and a bunch of other benefits.
After being a good soldier for about two months, I packed it away forever.
I fall asleep quickly, sleep like a log and always have.

What if you are awakened by your not breathing?

My defib/pacemaker is connected to my Wi-Fi. If I die during the night, I’ll receive an email informing me of my death.

On mine, if a problem is detected they can send a pulse to my pacemaker/defib and give me a shock and believe you me it would be a schock ! ! !

Sounds like you need a C-PAP machine.
