I’ve worn the right cloths in the rain. In general it was still yucky and didn’t help you do what you wanted to do. Climbing trees, in the rain, is a bad idea.
We have division of labor. Granny teaches the sensitive, thoughtful side of life, while Gramps shows you how to tie knots and sharpen a pencil with a penknife.
No such thing as bad weather, Opal? I suppose hurricanes, blizzards, hail storms, tornadoes, torrential rain, flooding, etc. are peach-keen weather events. Nelson, there IS such a thing as bad advice. ;-p

By that logic, there’s no such thing as poverty. It’s just the wrong amount of money.

Gut laugh here. But I do disagree about Grandpas not knowing so much. Its just Grandpas know a whole lot of different stuff than what Grandmas know.

Too bad there is not a school and test requirement to be a parent. I adopted three kids in 1992 from people who should have taken and passed a test.
