PSA: If you’re somehow disabled and stuck near the floor, you roll onto your knees and crawl to a “ladder” such as a chair or non-moving cabinet and pull yourself up. If that’s not possible, then get to your phone and call for help.

Muffin sits back and watches in glee. I knew it! Once he removes his old carcass from the chair, it’s mine! All mine!

If my dog saw me stuck in a beanbag chair like that, she’d probably jump in my lap and take a nap.

I’m surprised that the dog isn’t licking his nuts, if it was me that’s what I would be doing.

Roscoe doesn’t see a problem. His problem right now is an itchy ear and he’s taking care of that.

Reminds me of the videos where old or over weight guys are trying to exit out of a cool sports car.

reminds me of my mother-in-law and her friend who stayed with the children and slept in our waterbed ONE night. it took them 15 minutes to figure out how to get out of the waterbed. mostly I think because they were laughing so hard. – at least that’s what they told us when we came back home.

I think we all saw this one coming.

He’ll have to roll over on his side, get on his hands and knees then slowly rise up.

There is no way a man of Earl’s age – or mine, for that matter – can extricate himself from that beanbag chair and stand up without sacrificing his dignity!

Roscoe thoughts…I saw the cat flying through the air.

Wiggle one hip. You will sink lower on that side until you can roll over.

Earl is consumed by the blob, and Roscoe has an attitude.

‘’Roscoe, go across the road and get Mr. Johnson. Hurry boy’’

Looking at the old shows, they sure were corny. Timmy had a knack for finding uncovered wells and tumbling off cliffs. Kid was a disaster, looking for a place to happen.

Earl just roll over and crawl out on all fours.

Roll over, scoot down till your knees hit the floor and stand up.

Knew it, and Roscoe not interested. Earl do some rolling over.

He should just continue his nap until Opal shows up. She will fix it somehow.

The ‘roll’ part of “Stop, Drop and Roll” comes to mind. (Too bad Hollywood doesn’t know that.)

Most of is figured this to be the result. Now the only question is, how will his wife react? Not with empathy, I reckon.

I didn’t care for beanbag chairs in my 20s for this exact same reason. There’s no real support for sitting in one of ‘em.

#1, I wouldn’t be dumb enough to get in the chair in the first place.

That would be me!! I have a hard time getting up from the floor when I have to sit there to do something. A bean bag would be practically impossible since there is no solid surface to help me push up!

Gotta ROLL off…… it’s your only chance at this point..!!!

Now hop up on his belly and take a nap.

Roll over useless. That’s how we all got out of them in the 60’s when we couldn’t get up because of a little too much imbibing.

I had a beanbag that was about that size. 17’ around. It got too hard to get in & out of it, and after as long as I’d had it, it was kinda rank.
