Awww, now I want to love on Roscoe.

Now, Roscoe is going to jump on the furniture and bed and hide under a pile of clean clothes.

It’s a dog’s life

I tried doing that with our cat. Ended up with hair covered muddy hands.

Now Opal would have a fit if Earl used her Muffin also as a hand dryer after handling something icky; not a fair touché.

She would never do that. This is stupid. Author must have skipped his medicine this morning.

I had a Golden retriever, wonderful dog, but if I had Roscoe I would give him all the love I gave my Golden!

Now Roscoe will shake the mud all over the rug and she will have made much more work for herself than just washing the mud off her hands.

That is just plain mean.

Show Roscoe some respect. Golden Retrievers are beautiful dogs but the can a “dumb” blonde.

Well, after this, she mustn’t complain about muddy dogs in the house!

I’ve had muddy hands plenty of times in my life (grew up on a farm) but I NEVER considered wiping them off on a dog.

Opal if Earl did that you would be yelling at him .

Roscoe (thinking) to Opal (and turning somewhat): “… (now) a little more to the right.”

Opal are you out of your mind today?! Roscoe is gonna transfer that mud straight to the couch so you just as well have wiped your hands on it! Besides Roscoe deserves better:-/ not sure what Fagan was thinking today but I can’t say I’m amused

Having dogs the very next thing to happen is the dog will roll on his back to get the mud off and have the last laugh on Opal!

Opal would not do this. She is a neat, clean freak. I am surprised to see this, but I guess it was to show how down poor Roscoe was feeling. He’s adorable, just too “fluffy,” which will take a few years off his life.

Please, tell me Roscoe is sleeping and dreaming, and we’ll see him wake up in tomorrow strip!

I’m not a dog person (far from it) but even I wouldn’t do that. (wouldn’t dress ’em up in “cute” costumes either)

why would you wipe your dirty hands on your dog? he does not deserve that. how will you feel when he rolls around on his back on your clean carpet to get the dirt off. go to the kitchen or bathroom to wash your hands.

Oh Roscoe don’t whine, everyone loves you. But I admit Retrievers are wonderful dogs.

Oh this is sad. I mean it’s funny, but I relate so much. Often when one feels sad it’s easy to diminish ourselves and our great qualities leaving us to feel like nothing and do things that disrespect ourselves. I didn’t expect Pickles to get this deep.
