Next time, don’t give her any warning and let her be surprised when she washes clothes.

So he should have just waited until she asked him how his shirt got stained?

When did that apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (of which religion Brian Crane and I are members) say that?

Hey, Opal! Are you aware that you get an extra wrinkle every time you criticize Earl? It’s no wonder you look like a Sharpei!

Why do you quote a leader of a cult? I hope this doesn’t continue.

I have wondered all my life – really! – whatever happened to Pete so that everyone yells “for Pete’s sake!” when things happen??? (and yes I have used that expression all my life, but always wondered)

The one advantage of having my daily comics online is that I get to say how much I enjoy them. Pickles is my favorite and this one made my day!

This old couple has nothing but contempt for each other. They should just pack up and separate, each of them enjoying a few years of contentment free of the other.

You tell her, Earl. If you want, you can kick it up another notch and be puling. I looked it up. It has an element of childishness.

Any mother knows not to let children use bottles that can spill all over. Someone is very childlike. An adult would have already been up and had the shirt soaking.

We use the classic (and patented) no spill Kikkoman bottle at the table and refill from the larger bottle. No spills. We’re not morons.

Decades ago, I worked in a government office with a married man in his late 50s / early 60s. One day a pen in his pocket leaked and made a big ink stain all over the front of his shirt. Nothing he could do about it that day, but then a week or two later he wore the same shirt again with the same big ink stain all over it. He kept wearing that shirt in his regular rotation and never got rid of it. Don’t know if his wife “let” him do it, or couldn’t stop him, or what.

I have taught all of my kids that the end of the phrase, “Nobody likes..” is “… a whiner.” Glad to hear that Jeffrey R. Holland more or less agrees with me.

Ehhhh, sometimes it is better to let it out rather than keep it bottled up. While it may not change the weather sometimes it is satisfying to shake your fist at the rain in rage.
