Oh how I wish Marigold’s first guess was accurate.

This is a picture of me when I was younger.

Every picture of you was when you were younger.

Marigold has something in common with Frieren, for those who know that anime.

Gee, one could suppose that after twelve years of being around Phoebe, Marigold has every right to be unsure about how human aging works. ;-)

It’s probably the same as comic strip aging.

“I was so much older than, I’m younger than that now” (The Byrds, My Back Pages) comes to mind!

How can a Unicorn, who are almost immortal understand human aging?

As rainbows sometimes appear in this strip – and Marigold puked one quite recently – I would like to remind you that I have a Rainbow Calendar which contains a picture of a rainbow and a rainbow-connected motto for each month. The one for this new month is “A heart of gold is more beautiful than a pot of gold.” I think that fits in well with Phoebe And Her Unicorn.

She is immortal, she has inside her blood of kings.

Unicorns are immortal, so…

She is as old as her tongue and a little bit older than her teeth.

I see pictures of myself from seventy years ago and it blows my mind that I’ve been around that long.

That’s OK Marigold, we live this whole aging thing and we never figure it out either.

It doesn’t help that you look almost the same age in that photo.
