In Rat’s case, he’d throw people down a cliff or make people hold multiple helium balloons.

And if you’re President Biden, blame everyone else for the bad choice you do eventually make. And then go off to your vacation home in Delaware and leave everyone else to deal with the consequences of your bad choice.

I figure each nap is like riding a high speed people mover closer to oblivion, and since I’m old I may be running out of rides.

Kurt Vonnegut taught that if you really cannot decide, simply choose one option to be “heads” and the other “tails” and flip a coin. Note how you feel after you get the result, and if you are disappointed, then just do the other thing. Because if you really are unable to choose the better course, then they are equally good (or bad) and it doesn’t matter so far as you are able to predict which you pick.

Personally, I think Pig has the right idea. No way are you going to come up with the best decision if you’re sleep deprived.

If you feel refreshed, why would you take a nap? If he is always refreshed then he is refreshed before his nap.

Well, sometimes the best thing you can do is “nothing” in which case a nap is one way to pass the time waiting for it to resolve itself. Go Pig!
