The winner of the card game can yell gin, but what about the loser? If you play with pig rules, you can yell “Gin” while playing chess.

Actual pets are good. Not great but good. I predict that when we get enough people vaccinated (or, in the USA, after another 800K have died getting us to herd immunity) there will be an orgy of hugging…

That’s what it’s come to? Goat is being a bad influence on Rat?

Gin is a fabulous memory aid. It allows you to have as few as possible.

BTW rat and goat are less the 6 feet apart!

Another sad strip. When can we return to humor?

I am a non drinker by choice. I tried it when i was extremely young and despite being pushed by family, friends, and acquaintances to join them for a drink i have avoided drinking most of the last 40 odd years. However this year I can’t remember the last day i didn’t wake up in the morning craving a drink. Wouldn’t be an issue except I can’t leave an open bottle or open case depending on the beverage I’m enjoying, which is why I choose not to drink.

When (and why) did Goat stop being the sensible one?

Yes, it has come to this. I have been reading stories about such things on line. One man put up his tent and been camping out in his back yard for weeks now. One man has been camping out in his basement. And all kinds of other things. Like sleeping in a different room each night or even sleeping in the car when they have a bed. People are doing all kinds of things now days. Forget about catching Covid and dieing I wonder how many people are going to be driven insane by this mess.

Sometime around ’60 I found driving with one eye closed and a load of gin helped. Next morning, mom did ask why my floormats were atop the garbage cans.

Chris Mann did a really funny parody of Garth Brooks’ “I Have Friends in Low Places” called “I Had Real Friends Before Covid” with lots of household brooms and Swifters with wigs and googly eyes involved. I love his YouTube channel and his voice. He was the Phantom on Broadway for a year or so, and he was a finalist for “The Voice.” Very nice on the eyes and funny parodies to boot. And his rendition of “Danny Boy,” wow!

This reminds me of the early days of Pearls Before Swine when Pig used to make friends with inanimate objects. He once had a group of friends called the Fruit Buddies until Rat used them to make a smoothie.

Which explains why Goat’s not bothered by the party.

I hadn’t figured Goat for the Gin Solution, but maybe he’s consulted with Cybil, Lio’s gin-soaked cat. Tough times. If Pig wants a tea party with dolls/action figures, and it helps him stay more or less sane, cool!

Not having a social live has it’s merits sometimes. An unfair advantage for Rat.

Now there will be a shortage of toy tea sets!

Nice touch – with it being football season, Jadaveon Clowney only got signed a bit ago.
