Unusual for a rat not to reproduce. Female rats typically give birth to 6 to 7 litters per year, with 5 to 12 pups per litter.

You could replace him with a shot of espresso. That too is small and bitter.

I’m in favor of adoption. I don’t have kids, but if I did, I would give them away for adoption.

Who else remembers “Rat Junior” from a while back? He adopted him I think, but he left for some reason.

The old “If I do not look at it, it is not real” mentality, which is usually associated with children.

Biblically, I suppose it’s better to have no children than to have been destroyed and all your seed.

I always told my kids to play whatever sport they wanted to ( if they chose to play a sport ), to follow any career path the desired ( if they wanted a career ), read whatever they liked, to believe in whatever religion they found their faith in, the to support any political party they felt would govern best and most of all be honest with themselves and others_, be comfortable in their own skins and sexualities and remember that they were not an extension of my own ego. They were individuals who could think for themselves and were responsible for their own actions and choices. But I would love and be supportive of them – no matter what!

I never quite looked at it that way. Instead, I’ve always figured that the best thing I ever did for my kids was to not have them. These days I’m sure of it…
