I turn on the news this morning. 49 dead at a shooting in two mosques in New Zealand. And so it goes.

But Pig isn’t smart . . .

This is either really good timing, or bad timing for this strip, depending on your point of view, considering what happened in New Zealand…

Our daisies aren’t up yet. Our tulips and daffodils are barely up, but aren’t showing flower buds yet. We could go out and stand in the remaining (cruddy) snow, but it wouldn’t be quite the same as standing in the daisies.

The news is the same as it ever was. Only now we have all the 24/7 “news” aka Opinion networks who are in desperate need of something to fill air time

yep! cancelled newspaper, wont watch TV news and may listen to CBC radio news once in the day…….i figure if anything important happens that i need to know about, someone will knock on my door :-))
