I can’t be the only one that keeps unknown keys around – thinking that I’ll find the lock for it someday.

    No rush, Pig. Unless Bob’s a world-record breath-holder, it’s already too late.

The problem with being a pack-rat is that every once in a blue moon, you actually use one of the 10,000 things you’ve stored away. This is then used as justification for the behavior. I always try to remind myself not to use $10 worth of storage space on a 10-cent item.

I’m not a hoarder, but I’ve always had a tendency to “squirrel” things away that I might want to use or need some day. Tools are my weakness, but if I found a scuba gear and a raccoon trap while dump picking, they’d have a new home.

I’m basically pig. But I gave up trying to explain to my wife why I keep perfectly good items because I may need them some day.

I am trying to give up on attachment, though.

It seems that one spends the first 30 years of one’s life accumulating stuff and the last 30 trying to get rid of it.

Everyone knows (or should know by now) that “Neighbor Bob” is a redshirt. I could not begin to count how many Neighbor Bob’s have died in this strip over the years. But this is an egregiously bizarre Final Exit, just to make Pig regret doing something that actually in any Normal Universe would be a Good Thing!

    I accuse Cartoon-Boy of Pig-Shaming!

Ah – the season after I finally packed up and gave away all my ugly Christmas sweaters from the 90’s, it became a THING. I blame someone finding my sweaters in a thrift store for starting the trend . . .
