Good thing no one was flaming anyone; there could have been a fist fight.
Sadly, this is NOT that much of an exaggeration!
A very confusing age. Tell me about it.
At least with social media, you don’t need to worry about your appearance and you can walk out of the conversation without being awkward.
Sadly, this is dead on, and it’s why I stopped going to clubs. It’s rather hard to strike up a conversation with someone who won’t look up from his phone long enough for you to make eye contact with him, let alone say anything to him!
“Are we all at the same cafe?” No, we’re all on the same page at GoComics!
Hi, everybody! Good to see ya!
Pull your head out of your electronic gadgets and take a look around once in awhile!
Didn’t anyone check to see where everyone is from?
They are all in the “Truth Hurts Donut Shop”
It’s like the Sunset Grill is off the lobby of the Hotel California.
Oh, I find it much less confusing. It’s much easier to spot the morons now.
Is there a Pulitzer Prize for comics?
it’s because you are all losers! now get off the #$^% phone!!
Sadly true. I am not a phone person, often I am the only one not on one. I am the lady reading the book or a magazine….real ones, not digital ones.
Hit that nail right on the head. They should be called anti-social networks.
Time to make some REAL friends.
I didn’t know Facebook had added a proximity feature, where you could locate and Facebook those within the same room.
I don’t have any social media accounts. I have text features disabled on my phone and never ever use the phone for anything other than phone calls.
I control my time and the majority of my interactions with people instead of being ruled by the constant blather of insecure people who seem to require constant validation of their existence through meaningless typing between faceless “friends”.
I have a handful of people who really are friends and a larger circle of acquaintances. Our communications are meaningful, satisfying, and do not include pictures of our latest meal.
So much for smartphones, ya dumb dolts..
I don’t care what anybody says, Facebook can be a wonderful place for people to come together.
Stephan, I hope you fared better in the fire than I did.
Eek! Me, interact with Real, Live people?! Yuk (Turkish word)!
It’s almost enough to drive me to get a smartphone, just as an excuse.
Well Writen, Pastis
Pig had to go home to tell Rat about it…
Looks so far yet so near….
sad, but true.
